  • Complete and submit the form to SWE along with your gift.
  • We will verify the form and return it to your company.
  • The company issues a matching gift donation to SWE.

By making a planned gift to SWE, you can help ensure our resources for future generations of engineers. In recognition of your support, SWE will honor you as a member in our Ada Pressman Society

By naming SWE in your will or living trust, you can realize substantial tax savings while perpetuating your support of SWE into the future. Your donation will ensure that SWE continues to support the advancement of engineering as a desirable career for women. By thoughtfully remembering SWE, you can leave a legacy for women in engineering.

You can bequeath a specific dollar amount or a portion of what remains after your obligations to others are fulfilled. Designate your bequest to support SWE’s overall mission, where your contribution will be directed to where it is needed most or to a specific program.

If you would like to learn more about how you can support future generations of women engineers in perpetuity through a will or living trust, we would be delighted to discuss opportunities to include the SWE in your estate planning. SWE highly recommends that donors consult with their own tax or legal advisor prior to making a planned gift.

Scholarship Endowments

SWE - EFI (Society of Women Engineers - Endowment Fund Incorporated) operates as SWE’s Board of Trustees and manages all endowed scholarships. The minimum gift to establish an endowment is $25,000. To cover ongoing administrative and investments costs, there is a one-time fee of 10% that is requested in addition to the endowed principal of any gift (for example, for a principal gift of $25,000 the fee would be $2,500 for a total gift of $27,500).

An endowed gift is maintained in perpetuity and spending is based on revenues generated from the investment of the original gift amount. On an initial $25,000 endowment, SWE-EFI guarantees at least a $1,000 per year scholarship (after being invested for year) in perpetuity for the endowed scholarship. If a gift over $25,000 is made, the amount available for distribution for a single or multiple scholarships is proportionally higher.

In many cases, an individual elects to endow a scholarship in their name through a bequest or a scholarship is endowed in honor of an individual by family members and friends. Once an endowed scholarship is established in honor of an individual, SWE-EFI includes their biographical information in an Endowed Scholarship Booklet.

Having issues with your log in? These tips should help:

  • Your website login information is the same as your SWE Member ID and password that you use to log in to the SWE Member Services Center.
  • Login information is case-sensitive so check "Caps Lock" if you receive an error message.
  • Your SWE Membership login ID is different than your Career Center login. If you are trying to login to the Career Center and are receiving an error message please make sure you are using your Career Center login. If you have forgotten that information, click on the Login link in either the "Job Seekers" or "Employers" tab and then the "Forgot Password" link to retrieve your information. If you do not have a Career Center login, you can register in the same tab.
  • If you are receiving an "Invalid Token" error, it is most likely because you may already be logged into the website in another browser window or tab. You cannot be logged into the site more than once. Check to see if you are already logged in in another window or tab. If you are still getting this error and your page has been sitting idle for a while try refreshing the page or logging in again from the main page. You may also have a clogged browser cache. All you need to do is delete your browser history.
  • Once logged in, SWE members should be able to directly access all webinar replays. Go-to meeting webinars require input of an email address.
  • To report other issues with login, please use the "Report Page" link at the bottom of this page and include the browser you are using (e.g. Firefox, Explorer) and version of that browser (indicated by a number, e.g. 1.9; 11.0). This information can be found under "Help" and "About" in the Menu Bar.
